Do you suffer from back pain?
As many of you may know, I’ve been dealing with lower back pain for about a year now. It is most likely due to spending wayyyyyy too much time sitting in front of my computer. I started to go to a chiropractor for regular adjustments and decompression sessions (where they lay you down on a table with a cable attached to a belt that literally pulls your hips away from your upper torso, which is strapped down so it doesn’t move when the cable pulls – sort of like “the rack” of medieval times). This did help get rid of my sciatica, which practically crippled me for a month last summer, so I am very thankful for that, but it was costing me $45 – $90 a week. The chiropractor told me, “You need to walk more.” So, I started walking between 2 and 4 miles nearly every day. This definitely helped a lot and limited the amount of times I needed to go back to the chiropractor for relief, but I still went to bed a little stiff every night and woke up really sore with my lower back muscles really tight every morning. Nothing seemed to help with that – not even a new mattress.
Then something happened that really helped! I started to feel a little bit of a sore throat coming on, and knowing I had to do a conference in an upcoming weekend, I decided to load up on Vitamin C to head off any potential cold that might have been coming on. I’ve taken many different types and brands of Vitamin C before, but the one that I found to be the absolute best is this brand/type:
That is the only thing I have done different from my usual routine, but for nearly two weeks now (since I started taking two packs of these a day), my back pain is down from 75-90% painful and stiff all the time to about 5-10%, Now, it is barely noticeable apart from still being a little stiff, which can probably be worked out by simply doing more adequate exercise and stretching.
I am not into Network Marketing, nor am I a dealer of this stuff. If you click on the pic above or CLICK HERE it will take you to Amazon, where I buy it for myself. I am only posting this because I would like to share what has worked for me with those who may have similar problems. This product has made me a believer in the many benefits of Vitamin C!
Along with that, there’s also one method you CAN do along with it, for all those long periods of sitting down. I suffer from the same thing. When it hurts to walk, feeling sharp pain in every single step, i get my husband to pull my legs one at a time and very slowly! I lay on the bed face down. Hip meets the edge of the bed and legs dangle off. I have him grab my foot with one hand on top side of my foot, and other hand right above the ankle. He gently pulls for 10 seconds before releasing. Repeat with other leg. Then repeat 3 more times!!! No more.chiropractor for me!! 17 years of going and no need anymore! It realigns your hips too!
So cool. I believe natural products are FAR better than medications. Another natural product I have found to be highly effective for back pain (as well as other types of pain) is Relief pain cream. You can read more about it at http://reliefcream.com
Perfect timing. Thanks Rob. Watched a documentary “That Vitamin Movie” a while back and a lady mentioned she had taken a high dosage of Vitamin C to permanently get rid of a painful wrist she’d had for a while. Now this morning I came across your post. So definitely going to try up my dosage as I’m sitting with severe lower back pain at the moment. Greetings and blessings from South Africa.
Guess I’m a little behind, always hard to keep up with all you do. Pumped to find this site! I have heard of high dose Vitamin C for cancer too. I am going to try some of this. I have been dealing with some lower back pain recently. We got a massage chair and that has helped. BTW, there is a setting to change your name, you don’t have to be “site admin” lol 🙂

I discovered another nutrient that is especially helpful at targeting inflammation that builds up causing pain: systemic enzymes clean your arteries of placque which contributes greatly to pain. I found the info on losethebackpain.com. However I ordered a different brand (same ingredients) from Vitacost.com that was much! more! affordable!
I’ve been using these enzymes for about a year, along with Ester Vit C for manageable relief.
Thanks for sharing Rob, I have had similar issues with my lower back with pain that fluctuates, and comes and goes without any obvious cause. Sometimes it just clears up, and I have not yet understood why. It is SUCH a challenge having constant pain, waking up stiff and sore regardless of previous days activity, and clearly affects my mood and ability to do normal tasks.
I will try this myself and let you know any improvement.
Cheers
Hey Rob, if you really want to keep colds and flue at bay use a lot of brown onion and/or garlic in your diet. The Italians got this one right. You’ll hardly ever find an Italian with a cold or flue. Ser I seriously, try it, you’ll see.
God (YHWH) bless., regards David.
